6. Quality Control and Other Services
6.1 What is the extent of your vehicle inspection?
Quality Control Procedures are: Odometer Certification, Stolen Vehicle Checks, and Quality Assurance Process. ATNZ’s Quality Assurance Process includes exterior inspection noting all exterior condition of the car, full exterior and interior cleaning, engine and overall mechanical inspection. Vehicles are then rated and classified according to our established Grading System. For more information, please go to the Vehicle Inspection in the Quality Control page of our website.
6.2 What does your grading system mean?
Condition Grading System:
- 5.0 Almost new to Brand new
- 4.5 Very good condition
- 4.0 Good condition to Above average
- 3.5 Average to Good condition
- 3.0 Below average condition
- 2.5 Poor condition
- 2.0 Very poor condition
- 1.0 Suspension, Engine, Transmission or Exhaust altered and modified beyond normal vehicle specifications
- 0 Vehicle has accident history
Interior Grading System:
- A. Very Good Condition
- B. Good Condition
- C. Average Condition
- D. Below Average Condition

6.3 Can you guarantee that the mileage of your vehicles is true and not tampered?
Yes, all our vehicles are certified by Odometer Certification, and evident by a certificate which we will provide you upon purchase.
6.4 Do you have a right of return?
Yes, ATNZ sales are backed by a 7-day right of return which means that if the vehicle you purchase is misquoted or inaccurately described, we'll pick up the vehicle and refund the purchase price in full subject to certain conditions. 6.5 Are your vehicles VIN’d?

6.6 Are your vehicles MR2A ready?

6.7 What are your post/after-sale services?

Claims- Customer can submit the claim within 7 days after the release of the vehicle for a refund, repair or etc.
7-day right of return6.8 Do you make sure that all vehicles leaving your yard have fully operational batteries?
Yes, AutoTerminal New Zealand inspects and charges all car batteries prior to delivery. In the event that a battery does not charge or is found to be defective, it will be replaced without additional cost to the customer.
